By creating an account or using Cleani.ca (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. About Cleani.ca
Cleani.ca is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent cleaning service providers (“Vendors”).
Cleani.ca:
● does not provide cleaning services directly
● does not employ Vendors
● is not responsible for the actions or services of Vendors
We facilitate bookings, payments, and communication only.
2. Eligibility
To use Cleani.ca, you must:
● be at least 18 years old
● provide accurate and complete information
● use the Platform for lawful purposes only
3. Account Registration
When creating an account, you agree to:
● provide truthful and current information
● keep your login credentials secure
● notify us immediately of unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Bookings & Services
● Vendors listed on Cleani.ca are independent contractors
● Vendors set their own availability and services
● Cleani.ca does not guarantee service quality, timing, or outcomes
Any agreement for services is between you and the Vendor, not Cleani.ca.
5. Payments
● Payments are processed through Cleani.ca or its payment partners
● Prices include applicable platform fees unless stated otherwise
● Tips are optional and go directly to the Vendor
Cleani.ca may withhold or refund payments in cases of disputes, cancellations, or suspected fraud.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies may vary by Vendor.
By booking a service, you agree to:
● the Vendor’s cancellation policy
● Cleani.ca’s platform rules regarding disputes and refunds
7. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
● provide accurate service location details
● ensure safe access to the premises
● disclose hazards (pets, chemicals, unsafe conditions)
● treat Vendors respectfully and lawfully
Cleani.ca may suspend accounts for abusive, unsafe, or fraudulent behaviour.
8. Reviews & Feedback
You may leave honest reviews based on real experiences.
You agree not to:
● post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews
● use offensive or discriminatory language
Cleani.ca may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Canadian law:
● Cleani.ca is not liable for damages, losses, or injuries arising from services provided by Vendors
● Cleani.ca’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid through the Platform for the specific booking
10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, in compliance with PIPEDA and applicable Canadian privacy laws.
11. Account Suspension or Termination
Cleani.ca may suspend or terminate your account if you:
● violate these Terms
● misuse the Platform
● engage in fraudulent or harmful behaviour
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the Province of Ontario, unless otherwise required by law.

Vendor Terms & Conditions

These Vendor Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cleani.ca platform (“Cleani”, “we”, “us”, “our”) as a service provider (“Vendor”, “you”).
By registering as a Vendor on Cleani.ca, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. Platform Role & Relationship
1. Cleani.ca is an online marketplace platform that connects customers with independent cleaning service providers.
2. Cleani.ca does not provide cleaning services and is not a party to any agreement between Vendors and customers.
3. Vendors operate as independent contractors, not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Cleani.ca.
4. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, joint venture, franchise, or agency relationship.
2. Vendor Eligibility
To register as a Vendor, you must:
● Be at least 18 years old
● Have the legal right to work and provide services in Canada
● Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
● Be legally permitted to operate as a sole trader or business entity
Cleani.ca reserves the right to refuse or suspend any Vendor at its sole discretion.
3. Vendor Types
3.1 Solo Vendor
● You acknowledge that you operate as a sole trader / independent contractor
● You are fully responsible for: your own taxes, insurance coverage, and legal compliance.
3.2 Corporate Vendor
● You confirm that you are legally authorized to act on behalf of the business
● You are responsible for all personnel performing services under your account
4. Vendor Responsibilities
As a Vendor, you agree to:
● Provide services in a professional, lawful, and safe manner
● Accurately represent your services, pricing, availability, and qualifications
● Comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws
● Maintain any required insurance, permits, or certifications
● Communicate honestly and respectfully with customers
5. Profile Information & Verification
1. Vendors must keep their profile information accurate and up to date.
2. Cleani.ca may request verification documents (ID, Business registration, Insurance).
3. Failure to provide requested verification may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Payments & Fees
1. Cleani.ca may facilitate payments between customers and Vendors.
2. Platform service fees, commissions, or processing fees may apply and will be disclosed separately.
3. Vendors are solely responsible for declaring income and remitting taxes.
4. Cleani.ca is not responsible for disputes related to pricing, refunds, or service quality.
7. Cancellations, No-Shows & Disputes
1. Vendors must follow Cleani.ca’s policies.
2. Repeated cancellations or poor performance may result in penalties.
3. Cleani.ca has the final discretion in platform-related disputes.
8. Ratings & Reviews
1. Customers may leave ratings and reviews.
2. Cleani.ca does not edit or remove reviews unless they violate policies.
3. Vendors may not manipulate reviews.
9. Insurance & Liability
1. Vendors are solely responsible for any injury, damage, loss, or claim arising from their services.
2. Cleani.ca is not liable for property damage, personal injury, theft, or service dissatisfaction.
3. Vendors agree to indemnify Cleani.ca from any claims arising from their actions.
10. Prohibited Conduct
Vendors may not bypass the platform, provide false info, harass users, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
11. Account Suspension & Termination
Cleani.ca may suspend or terminate a Vendor account at any time for violations.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cleani.ca shall not be liable for indirect damages, and total liability shall not exceed fees paid to Cleani.ca in the preceding 12 months.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.
14. Changes to Terms
Cleani.ca may update these Terms at any time.
